About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Insurance & Medical Billing Specialist to manage and optimize the insurance claims, billing processes, and revenue cycle management for healthcare clients. This role requires deep knowledge of healthcare systems, compliance, and billing procedures to ensure timely reimbursements and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end medical billing, claims submission, and follow-up.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
Review denied claims and implement corrective measures.
Coordinate with insurance providers, patients, and healthcare staff.
Generate billing reports and revenue cycle performance metrics.
Train and mentor junior billing staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.
5–8+ years of experience in medical billing and insurance.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Proficiency in billing software and EHR systems.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
